Guidelines for Oral presentations
The total time for your presentation is 20 minutes – 15 minutes for your presentation and 5 minutes for questions. Please be aware that to enable strict adherence to the time schedule the session chair will be very strict in administering time. You will be given a warning when you have 5 minutes left, and again when you have 3 and 1 minutes left. When the 20 minutes have gone, the presentation will be terminated.
Guidelines for Mini Oral presentations
The poster presentations at the ICCM20 will be fully integrated in the scientific program. The poster sessions will include a short 3 minutes long oral overview presentation (termed "mini-oral") of each poster (maximum of 3 slides) given in plenum to the entire conference. This will be followed by a poster session that will take place in the Exhibition area of the Bella Center and where the presented posters will be on display and open for discussion. The presentation can be no more than 3 minutes long and prepared on a PowerPoint template supplied by the ICCM20 organising committee.
Speaker Ready Room
All presentations for the ICCM20 are uploaded to our networked computer system in the Speakers Preview, or “Speakers Ready Room” as it is often called. Here, a technician will copy the presentation to our harddisk and run it through in the presence of the presenter. Often, typographical errors or technical difficulties (e.g. with video files) can be resolved “on the spot”. Then, when you, the presenter, and we are satisfied, your presentation is uploaded to the computer in the conference room and will be ready for you. In the break out room, there will be people assisting you to have it up and running on the screen. You do not have to bring any additional for your presentation.
We prefer to have your presentation uploaded the day before your oral presentation and at least 3 hours in advance.
For presentations on Monday 20 July, the Speaker Ready Room is already open on Sunday 19 July from 17.00 – 20.00.
The Speaker Ready Room is located in “FOCUS” and access is through the exhibition area on the ground floor.
